SS24 LOOK BOOK

As always color plays the key role in the Spring Summer 2024 collection and our capacity to dye our own yarn colors and incorporate them into the hand weaving of the 18 different fabric qualities we offer this season. Our Beach Mat Multi weave is a perfect example of this, as we simply handed over eight bright colors to our weavers and let them combine the colors and weave the weft stripes as they pleased. The result is a random sunny mix of colors and stripes that we have made into jackets, beach mats and bucket hats.

The center of this spring & summer collection is short sleeve shirts. Obviously a short sleeve version of the Madras staple button down collar shirt but also camp collars, relaxed fit straight edge stitched collars and a new straight fit baseball shirt. Our casual unstructured tailoring is another large portion of the collection including a number of over shirts as well as a single breasted two button jacket and band collar jacket that can be combined with matching tailored shorts or trousers.

This is our third season presenting our own naturally dyed organic cotton program. We have continued to further develop and refine our own pure organic Indian cotton yarn naturally dyed in hank form with real indigo, avoiding any use of chemicals. These yarn hanks in differing hues of indigo have then been hand woven into five exclusive Madras cloth designs for the SS24 collection.
